I wanna be a songwriter

I wanna know how songwriters write their songs
Do they see the rights and wrongs that surround them?
Do they see the light and dark that shines upon them?

I have sat down to write songs,
But what if I’m supposed to stand up?
I have used a blue pen to write songs,
But what if I’m supposed to use a black pen?

I wanna know how songwriters write their songs
Do they see the fouls committed to their souls?
Do they see the fouls committed by their souls?

I have let hurt my body cavity,
But what if I’m supposed to hurt others?
I have drunk my tears,
But what if I’m supposed to chew and eat them?

I wanna know how songwriters write their songs
Do they paint white where it’s supposed to be black? (I bet they do)

Before we go on with all that,
I wanna write a song
I wanna write songs

I wanna be a songwriter
To address
To dress
To undress

I want microphones to be synced to my phone
