Fragments of Memory

In the corners of my mind,
There are memories that whisper and remind,
Of moments that have faded away,
Of memories that we can’t help but replay.

Fragments that lie scattered and broken,
In the vaults of our hearts, unspoken,
Worn down by the sands of time,
And yet, they remain a part of us, sublime.

The memories of our past,
Like shards of glass, uncast,
Glitter and gleam in the corners of our minds,
Reflecting the light of the past
and all that lies behind it.

The laughter, the tears,
the smiles and the pain,
All woven together on
this tapestry of life’s gain,
And as we wander through the maze of time,
We find that memories are both sweet and sublime.

The scent of a flower, the touch of a hand,
The sound of a song, the warmth of a land,
All fragments of memory that we hold dear,
Memories that define us, far and near.

In the deep recesses of our hearts,
These fragments of memory never depart,
And we are left to wade through the tide,
Of emotions and feelings that we can’t hide.

So, let us cherish these fragments of memory,
The good, the bad, and the bittersweet,
For they are part of us, and they define,
The story of our lives, the journey of our time
